Story
Born of the Oronir tribe, he was instilled with self-importance from a very young age. However, his unique set of skills - not one of them related to combat prowess - eventually led him to leave home, and set out on his own.
He moved to live in Kugane for several years, quickly becoming fond of city life and its associated social trappings. He soon became enamored with the Mujikoza theatre, and immediately set his sights on working there.
The idea of fame appealed to him immensely, but this desire was accompanied by a paranoia -- in these lands so close to his home, where his tribe might find him, he did not want to be found. He decided to move to the far west, far enough that hopefully none of them would hear of him again, no matter how renowned he became.
He journeyed to Eorzea, resolving to succeed as a minstrel with unique musical stylings unheard of in this part of the world. Though he lands a job with some frequency, he may have vastly overestimated his appeal.
Recent Story

Several soul-crushing moons passed like that, as his debtor milked the opportunity for all it was worth. Accompanying a trade shipment to Thanalan, he met an old friend by chance who then forcibly convinced him to stay, and break his contract terms.
Extended Backstory
The long-form backstory is, as the name suggests, quite long and only for the truly hardcore Khutani fans (and authorial reference). You have been warned!
